Cape Fusion Tours has an alliance with Budget Car Rental in South Africa. Budget is a well-known company that has pick-up points at all major airports in South Africa. By using Budget you are assured that if there are any problems while you are travelling, they will sort it out. The advantages of renting via a tour operator are that there is NO excess on your vehicle in the case of an accident or theft. Additionally prices include UNLIMTED mileage. The disadvantage is that you will need to pay for your car rental upfront via bank transfer and that all rentals under 7 days are subject to a R50 finance handling fee. This is a small price to pay for having the peace of mind of:
* not having a prohibitive excess placed on your credit card (often in excess of R5000),
* having the support network of a national car rental agency and
* not being charged for any additional mileage you may wish to do.
